The 2.0 litre E engines with petrol injection were only available in the Kadett Rallye 2.0E. The engine differs in a number of details from the 2.0 litre EH engine.
The 2.0E engine used hydraulic tappets. The same engine was also available in the Opel Ascona 2.0E sport, the Manta 2.0 GT/E (later GSi) and the Opel record 2.0E.
